It has been so rainy this week that Sofia and I have stayed in...every day. I'm getting stir crazy. Today I put her in the carrier, attached the fleece cover and went for a walk in our neighborhood. It was good to get some fresh air! I think she was happy to get out, too. She's definitely going to be a mover and a shaker - we like to be on the go! We're going to introduce her to Opry Mills on Saturday. Hopefully she'll be able to hang with us while we hunt for bargains!

Reality Check: I got my hair cut the other day and the stylist said "you're so lucky that all your gray hair is in one place". Really...am I lucky? I would have felt better if she'd continued with a sales pitch for a color treatment, but no luck. Apparently, she just felt the need to say that out loud. The same evening, I was washing my face and noticed a wrinkle on the corner of my left eye. It wasn't on the right side, so I guess it's just a crow's foot? Should I be thankful that Father Time has decided to put his stamp on my face one eye at a time? Bearing a child did things to my body that I wasn't quite prepared for and now with the comment about my hair and the time stamp on my face, I need a pick-me-up. Hot Fudge Cake anyone?
