Manic Monday

I had to find another way of keeping Sofia occupied while I do housework. Today, I decided to pull her around the house in the laundry basket while I put away clothes. She loved it, but my back is aching! The days of laying her down while I put a few things away have come and gone. She wants to be entertained pretty much every second of the day now. I'm surprised at how much I can get done while she's napping. :0) She pushed herself up on her hands and knees today for the first time, albeit by accident. She fell down to her belly pretty quickly and had a surprised look on her face like "what just happened?". Our days are numbered...she'll be mobile soon. Yikes!

We just got back from Spring Hill's new Target and I must say it was quite a madhouse. It was like these people had never been in a Target before and carts were flying up and down the aisles! Kids were skating by me on those dreadful wheelies, women were grabbing bottles of shampoo like there was no tomorrow and one man literally refused to move his cart to let me by --- who knew he would need to study an inflatable pool that intently!! Sofia threw her first fit in a store today and while I should have been embarassed that she was crying and throwing herself back against the seat, she actually fit in quite well with all the craziness going on in the store. I had to get out of there - we'll try it again another day. I don't know what wore me down first - Sofia's temper tantrum (by the way, I didn't think that was supposed to start for several more months - she must get this from the SanMiguel side :0) )or the crazy Target shoppers.
