Here is a picture of Sofi, taken in my Mom's garden earlier this week. This is one of the few times she sat still for longer than 30 seconds. Later that day was the "incident" most of you have heard about - Sofia's first fall. The "gravel burn" on her forehead is starting to fade and my nerves are returning to normal. I don't think I've ever been so scared or so heartbroken. Mom assures me there will be many more bumps & bruises as she learns to walk, but this first one was a bit traumatic - at least for me and Armando. Sofia seemed to bounce back pretty quickly. :0)

By the way - is it me or did the Franklin Main Street Festival seem unusually busy this year? There were people EVERYWHERE! I thought I was going to have stroller-wars with a couple of moms who were getting a bit pushy out there yesterday. Sheesh!
