It was time. Time for some relief from the constant battle with Sofia's hair. I love her curls and the fact that you never know which direction they'll be turning each day. However, now that she knows how to remove her hair clips, I was forced to add bangs. Tonight I set her down in the sink, pulled out the scissors and started snipping. Half way through, she decided to stand up, so my 'line' became a little crooked and I was terrified that to even them out, she'd end up with 1-inch bangs near her scalp. It's not horrible, but I can tell. Once they grow back out...she'll be sitting in a 'helicopter chair' at Snip-It's. My hair-cutting days are over - for now we'll just call these bangs "whispy" and perhaps it will start a new trend.
