Swap Meet

So this afternoon I went to a swap party. Never been to one, didn't know what to expect. But it was SO fun!! A former co-worker hosted it in her house, invited friends who brought at least 5 items and at 4pm it was time to 'shop'. Within just a few minutes, complete strangers became the best of friends as they helped each other put together 'new looks' from the piles of clothes. Some walked away with bags full of practically new things and others found only a few treasures. Either way, it was lots of fun, a "free" shopping experience and a chance to make some new friends. Leave it to women - you'd never see a bunch of men strip down to try on a pair of jeans, all the while telling a total stranger how perfect 'that top' would look on her!
